It was engaging and I could learn a lot in that short time. It was practically taught.
it was an interactive session. I learnt new information and loved how the session went. The 3 hours didn't feel long or boring. Loved how clearly we could understand between story vs screenplay or shot from scene. The most memorable learning was analysing a literal movie to understand the structure of the scene, it gave a new perspective on scriptwriting altogether. Overall, thank you for a valuable session. Basic knowledge and awareness abt editing... Was good .
Everything that i learned today was obviously much needed but the mentors and the way they taught and explained the things made me feel not to leave session till last second !
i really wanted to know about story buiding stuff . I m glad that praveen sir has performed this workshop . Really loved the way he taught about screenwrite or abot story building , Character arc ,etc . Really loved it . THANKS LVL UP LEARNING FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY.
The session with Praveen was very informative. Delving into the minute workings of scriptwriting is very interesting and understanding what goes into one scene is fascinating. Taking something ordinary and weaving it into a story is an intriguing journey. Scriptwriting is like storytelling in a formula one car...it must keep moving towards the finish line at a good, thrilling pace or lose the interest of your audience.
It was good for basic knowledge of editing
see i knew a story since last 3 yrs but i dont know wht was stopping me to put on paper. its was pathbreaking session for me and im full of confident that my dream of writing a beautiful, romentic love story will be fulling by end of 2023 for sure . That was the impact . its has opened new horizon of wrting ,as i know i can build upon a idea or incident into a gripping story. i was a story teller but now i will be screen writer✍️. thanks alot level up 👌
This is it đź‘Ť I've joined many workshops, but nobody actually teaches how to write story, structure it & write screenplay. Also tools & in-depth step by step details shared upto the finalising of screenplay. Looking forward to collaborating with you for my final work.
Loved everything about Basic Screenwriting session, the mentor Praveen is well versed with the subject and though being an actor for 45 years in theatre, TV and cinema , i knew a lot of things but it was a systematic presentation of writing which i am sure would be beneficial to everyone, in future i would love to associate with you guys for an advanced course, since i am writing tits and bits from a long time. Thank you

Provided a general overview of video editing. But frankly, I may not be able to start the basic editing activity quickly except after quite a bit of trial and error.

I liked that the workshop was cleverly divided into parts that answered to the questions that would have been circling my mind. Also comprehensive talks about the roles that one would pursue later on.
I got to know about basic of Davinci Resolve and it was very helpful for a beginner like me.
I wrote few stories before. But, when I am writing I struk at some point. after joining this class, I just found a way to move forward my story. Thank you Levelup you really levelupD my knowledge from besics.

It was really good workshop. In short workshop also nicely explained in detailed. It was knowledgeable.
The streamlined approach to what is basically an art form, was the need of the hour. As someone who learnt screenwriting on the job, it was refreshing to have a structure to follow

I attended this workshop with not too many expectations regarding content or screenwriting. However, I left the workshop inspired to get into writing for film or even novels. I enjoyed this time a lot and found the information to be quite useful for someone who is beginning. The instructor was also well aware of the various topics which gave me confidence to attend future sessions.
It was a great session, get to know about the basics of screenwriting like how to build a character and all, overall the workshop was good.
I always wanted to dabble and learn more about scriptwriting and understand the art of storytelling. This was the perfect opportunity to do that! Praveen was absolutely amazing and patient with his way of delving into concepts and ideas. Avinash who hosted the session was very helpful and friendly. If you want to know more about all things related to writing, ideating, and creation...this session is really the best way to get a foot at the door :)

Well structured workshop for noobs. Basics were explained formulaically with focused examples.
Got the basic idea on how to edit video. As of this is my hobby taking videos and now i could edit at my basic level.
Very informative, for basics and beginners and overall getting into a mindset of learning more about filmmaking

The workshop takes us to the world of storytelling in a very structured way. The foundations are made solid.

Whenever I thought I had a doubt and will have to ask a question it was immediately answered in the next slide. There was no leaf unturned. I actually learned quite a bit. Thank you !

I think the program should be in Hindi also bcz most of the films are in Hindi in India
It was a new experience for me. Praveen whom I didn't knew until know is one of my best instructors who have showed or opened up a new perspective to story writing.

It was my very first experience to gain some knowledge regarding basics of directing and It was really worth taking this whole conceptual class.. I admired how everything was explained in clear most detailed manner in a sequence which kept me glued to the screen wanting to know, listen and learn more the whole time... so thank you praveen .. Looking forward to attend the next advanced direction class ... hoping the timings works out... appreciate the entire learning experience..🙌

Content delivery and detailed explanation about all the topics with video samples seems like a very engaging and easy to understand. Mise en Scene was my favourite topic.

yeah, it is good and very knownledgeble about the direction and filmmaking and understanding of how things works in a scence and in film.

It was my first hand experience into film making and direction. Getting insight in the film making will be helpful in planning my own short videos that I do for my business and try my hands into making of catchy and creative videos.

It was a very good session. I am very passionate about the film industry, but I had no knowledge of it. Now I have very good knowledge of the basics of screenplay.
I was quite curious and worried about the 3-hour class because it was online. Obviously, distractions would happen, etc. After entering the session, I couldn't take my eyes off the screen for 3 hours. That's because the session was interesting, clear, and informative. Entering with zero knowledge, I exited the session feeling like a moderately knowledgeable individual. Now, I am comfortable and familiar with camera direction, staging, blocking, etc.
I was very impressed with the course content and Mr Praveen's teaching style. The course covered a wide range of topics, from the basics of filmmaking to more advanced concepts. Mr Praveen was able to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise way, and he was always willing to answer questions.
Attended the screenwriting workshop already,and same as it the direction workshop is such an easy to follow one for someone totally new to the field.
It was a very knowledgeable session & Praveen shared some very interesting insights about how a cinema is made.

Since I have dabbling in writing in my own way without any guidance for years now, I wanted a professional lens to look at my own work and sort of analyze what I am doing wrong and right. Praveen, by talking about the very basics, in the simplest of fashion - and with examples of mainstream films - brought out some hard truths that I felt I had been ignoring. My purpose was solved, very simply. Kudos!
A fine experience. The way event was conducted and presenting the content relevant. Good. Also the fellow participants were curious enough. Overall, purpose was done.
Explaining concepts through storytelling is very useful. Even without seeing slides I can remember the story told in class

Being a beginner to this journey it was interesting to know some of the the ground work that happens behind the big screen play which we are all big fans of . This work shop is a great start to shape out the passion of writing into a right form. The mentor was through and made it easy to understand.

I really liked how Praveen patiently guided us throughout each component of storytelling and screenwriting in the 3 hour workshop. In particular, the fact that he explained us that storytelling is not always supposed to be linear and it can be non-linear as well really helped me understand the deeper picture about narratives. As an aspiring storyteller, this course really inspired me to continue working towards my larger goal of creating stories around unspoken narratives.
