The most beautiful journey in the process of this workshop was how an idea can be converted into a world cinema. The baseline of a story and script creation is been cleared and of course with the advanced workshop the bridge between illusion and realism can be built. Thanks for this knowledgable evening Praveen Sir.
The workshop is very well designed, not too technical yet and gives fairly good idea of filmmaking to beginner like me.
I love how the teacher was explaining with the help of examples.
This session was really fun and informative, specially the part where each shot of movie was broken down for us to understand. I feel like this was the best introduction I could have ever got for the world of cinema. Each time I will watch a movie, this session will come into my mind helping me analyze and understand about the cinematography, shots, pacing, staging etc. Thank you soo much!

The video didn't even play, it kept showing connecting to broadcast,Really disappointed, i patiently waited for almost 1 and half hour, tried checking if it's internet issue or anything but internet was completely fine kept waiting maybe issue from admin even after 1 and hour it still showing that it's connecting to broadcast, such a disappointment for 1st course itself, i have written even am email hope you provide a recording of atleast give access for next class.
It was very informative, and gave a very good overview and was a very amazing workshop.
It's a 2-hour transformative program that takes you from ignorance to confidence.
Since i was new to the terms , the way it was explained during the session was so good including short films and explaining with relation to these short films and other movies which were well known
Hi I'm an Aspired Actor from kerala. I have attended this session to understand the fundamentals that I haven't thought about or understood so far which is needed in a script while it's been written or read as an actor to see if the screen play withhold any possibility of success for the producer or studio for their investment. In the end it's the actors who has to bring the characters to life and portray all the details which is written. So I thought it's important to understand the same way what a writer is telling me or I could ask questions back regarding my knowledge to see how much the writer understood their work. Thank you

I have got a basic idea of script writing etc and the session by praveen was good.
A new experience for me. My main interest was 'story telling" and the parts where story was discussed after showing movie clip. This really resonated with me.
Hey, it was nice to get hands about basics of screenwriting and storytelling, but at some points the examples were a bit overexplained, making me feel like zoning out of the actual plot. So that could be a bit better, apart from that, I loved everything about this workshop. Kudos to you guys. Now my perspective on filmography has completely changed. To more like these!!!
The way of explaining things in an understanding way with right examples
Forge has exceptionally exceeded all my expectations on whole new level. This is definitely one of the best filmmaking bootcamps if not the best.
It was magical to see how an idea transforms into a powerful story on screen. This workshop truly ignited my passion for filmmaking!

The briefing that was given on introductive class on direction.
I have paid the fees a month ago and for some reason I didn't get the joining link for that workshop. It took me a month of follow up to get it. But at last I got the link after a month and I did this workshop. The workshop was as expected awesome. I've understood so many things from it. I loved it and I am looking forward to do the Master's program. Also I would like to thank the team for getting back to me, but I would suggest you to improve your customer service execution. Thank you.
For a person like me, this was a beautiful way of understanding how some the movies that we all love are conceptualized and structured. Now with this information and knowledge, it has become easy to relate it to what I learnt today. Praveen is an excellent facilitator and his examples were absolutely on the spot. This was a good choice I made, I feel.

First, I was afraid to attend this workshop because I assumed it would be a scam by providing bogus cinema expertise, but after the meeting began, it was really worthwhile and interesting.
I attended a short film making workshop and absolutely loved it! The hands-on experience, insightful guidance from the instructors, and the collaborative environment made it incredibly enriching. I especially appreciated how the workshop covered all aspects of filmmaking, from scriptwriting to post-production. This experience has not only boosted my skills but also inspired me to pursue more projects in filmmaking. Highly recommended for anyone passionate about creating short films!

It was exactly something that I was looking for, a community for writing that I can be a part of. I learned varies new things. I made amazing friends.
It honestly helped boost my confidence. I feel a lot freer when it comes to experimenting and exploring. And at no point did the mentors leave us in the process. They made sure we finished our script, shoot etc.
Got confidence on myself and my story. All the 1:1 mentoring sessions were so valuable in sculpting my story. Made great friends. Wholesome experience.
Coming back felt like meeting a dear old friend again. Things were more mellow this time, but I surprised myself by wishing I could have done more in this pioneer edition of Forge Writing. Made some amazing new friends (again!) and it was fascinating to see familiar faces again! I love how so much of my personal blocks and doubts were catered to do kindly and my mentor Praveena, along with other mentors Praveen and Santhosh, I didn't feel like I was lacking. Thank you for having me again, would love to come back on another edition!

As a full-time filmmaker, I must commend Forge for successfully condensing the intricate process of filmmaking—from ideation to final output—into just seven days. Covering the fundamentals of direction, scriptwriting, cinematography, and editing within such a short time frame is no small feat, yet Forge managed to make it an engaging and enjoyable experience. A significant part of this success lies in the selection of the right participants. I had the privilege of working alongside a passionate, curious, and diverse group of individuals, who made this edition truly unforgettable.

As a entry level editing course, it was good..
The examples given with little movie clips for better understanding as well as the friendly and approachable tone of the host made it an engaging experience.

The way of explainig by him was too good and the way mentor was teaching us.
The pictures samples, and the pathway to get to his level was great.
This workshop was not just illuminating but also extremely enriching. I loved how Sir explained the techniques, broke down the different domains and aspects and analyzed it minutely in simple terms making it all so comprehensive and easy. Also the best part was that this workshop catered to the needs of everyone starting from a novice to an expert. The films he chose to analyse and the way he explained it was quite didactic and educative. I would love to join more workshops and learn more him.
First hour was great, but the transition between slide & lecture was not good scripted. And voice modulation was not also well for new aspirants. What a get from first hour was great.
