I recently attended the 2-hour online short film making workshop by Mr. Rahul G and found it to be a concise and informative introduction to the basics of filmmaking. The session was well-structured, focusing on essential theoretical concepts such as storytelling, script planning, and the different stages of film production. The instructor explained filmmaking terminology and shared useful examples that made complex ideas more accessible, even without any hands-on activities. Although the format did not include practical shooting or editing, it offered a clear overview for beginners who want to understand the process and start thinking creatively about making their own short films. I appreciate how efficient and engaging the session was, making it a great starting point for anyone curious about filmmaking fundamentals.
I loved the way he thaught and they even showed us a clip from a film that's good because we couldn't say everyone would have watched everything
The host Mr.Praveen has a very good field experience and the way he explains stuffs are engaging and understandable.Felt the session could have been a bit lengthier. Now I have got know the other side of filmmaking and hopefully it'll help me to figure out where am I and what should I start learning first. Overall It was a nice experience.
Informative, engaging and interesting. Everything was covered in a concise way.
It explained all the basics to start a shortfilm from the scratch. And gives me an idea to how to begin and what the things I should do, to make in professional.

I love the energy how the mentor is teaching us the direction methods in film. This is the great way to learn filmmaking. I love this program and want to attend the programs which will coming.

This short filmmaking program was a very engaging one which covered most of the important topics to be known and actually didn't waste the 2hrs of time promised with unnecessary talking and stuff.

The overall workshop was good, it had a clear objective to convey an holistic approch and also a glimse of what we can expect more if we move on to the advanced classes. Thank you so much for encouraging working group of people to follow their passions. Loved the examples for each and every concept . can we have more sessions like this( workshop everyweek to attract audience) of analysis of some critically acclaimed ( unique ) films what could be done diffrently in the story ( Need analysis class on October film ) As an aspiring music director it helped me to learn how to reason behind visual . I am passionate about music but , this workshop developed passion towards screen writing . Great initiative . Thank u for giving a lot of knowledge .

The workshop was great. It explained the film making from scratch and how can a person with his or her vision show the world same with minimal investment and best of efforts through technicalities.
The workshop was basic but incredibly insightful. In just two hours, the mentor explained everything so clearly, from camera techniques to editing software and even a glimpse into color grading. I learned a lot, and I really appreciate the effort and clarity with which the session was conducted. It was a great introduction to the world of short filmmaking!

The faculty was technically very sound & explained different case scenarios in a way that even an absolutely novice could understand the different nuances of filmmaking. Also kudos to the team for not pushing too hard to sell their courses, unlike others . Overall a great experience .

I Got yo know about levelup learning through social media..and I signed up up for the film direction 101 program as it was for beginners and honestly i did not expect such wide range of knowledge that is being given to for a such affordable price and explanation each topic with specific examples and understandable references is lovely also having so many topics to cover and a limited time with detailed analysis is not an wasy job i think the mentor did a tremendous job in it and it was a wonderful experience for me as a beginner yeah!
