The screenplay writing session was very insightful. I learned the fundamentals of storytelling — difference between story and incident, key components like protagonist, goal, conflict, and stakes, as well as character arcs (positive, negative, flat). The part on “want vs. need” using film examples was especially clear and useful. Overall, it gave me a strong foundation and sparked curiosity to learn more.

I get to learn several new things from this Screenwriting workshop, like the Need and the Want element which is usually not touched upon in other classes. They gave relatable examples, showed movie clips for us to understand the concepts better. Helpful indeed!

so basically i loved the session because i joined in with 0 knowledge about structure but after the session i will not say i mastered it but in just less than 2 hours i got more content in my head and to think about and i got to know how to ideate my ideas so it helped me a lot if i am not wrong i also registered short film workshop today i hope that also goes well also the criticisms the chat was soo distracting bcoz people were asking and telling random question which was annoying and distracting and i really thought i would get 1 software suggestion not detaily but atleast a small gist about the software it would have been more useful if it was given other than this i loved the session

I loved the fact with such an ease Praveen Sir broke down the complexity of screenwriting. I did not know even 1% of it before, but had joined the workshop with just a hope that one day I too would work with legendary directors with great stories. I have taken back the key insights involved in becoming a film story writer and screenwriter.

I loved almost every bit of it, especially the real life example of films that we have watched and love, shared on the screen of the live stream and the scenes explained from a directors point of view. It was really engaging and got me hooked on till the very end. Even the ppt shown was very well made and had prompt points to note and rememeber.

It was very nice, the mentor is so good and knowledgeable with the concepts. I can recommend this workshop to everyone who are into filmmaking or screen writing.
